SGA Robotics: RoToR HDA Print
RoToRRed.gifThe RoToR HDA pinning robots are already pinning arrays of yeast and bacteria in 90 labs worldwide! Naturally, they all come with a beer bottle opener fitted as standard. And now we've gone touch-screen, and the software is even more intuitive. Replicate, mate, re-array or backup your yeast or bacteria library in standard 96, 384, 768, 1536, 3072, 6144 array formats from one (or multiple) source plate(s) to one (or multiple) target plate(s) on agar or in liquid medium. In minutes! And at the touch of a button! Read more...

The Singer RoToR HDA is a very small benchtop robot for easy ultra-fast manipulation of high density arrays of yeast or bacteria. It allows reagents sets such as deletion mutant collection and the complete set of cloned yeast genes to be utilised for large-scale two hybrid, synthetic genetic array, phenotypic and chemical-genetic analysis. The RoToR uses plastic replica plating pads and supports liquid pinning to and from 96 and 384 well microtitre plates and agar pinning at densities 96, 384, 768, 1536, 3072 and 6144.

*This is the minimum bench area required to support the feet of the RoToR.

**These are the dimensions of the envelope of the RoToR as projected onto a horizontal surface. The majority of the difference between the footbase and the footprint is at the back for the control panel, and at the side for the control interface (can be mounted on either side).
