The Future of Lab Imaging – Feedback Sessions
We’re at the University of Kent from May 20th – 22nd. Come and try our next-level imaging
Help us Build the Future of Lab Imaging!
Singer Instruments is developing a cutting-edge imaging system to accelerate microbiology, drug discovery, and cell biology. We aim to streamline complex imaging workflows, enabling faster, more accurate microbial analysis. We’re coming to the University of Kent and looking for your feedback to help feed our next phase of development.

Introducing ColonyCam Silhouette
High-resolution plate imaging is essential for reproducible results in microbiology and streamlining workflows from microbe classification to colony counting. Our new prototype, ColonyCam Silhouette, is bench-top and delivers unparalleled imaging quality while empowering automation and downstream analysis.
Having trouble imaging multi-well plates? We’ve developed an innovative optical configuration that images straight down every well simultaneously. This means it takes excellent images of your biology, not the sides of the wells!
High image quality: High quality, high contrast, backlit colony images for reliable, reproducible results.
Universal plate handling: Parallax-free imaging for various plates, including SBS, single and multi-well plates, 90mm Petri dishes, and deep-well plates.
Consistent and uniform illumination: Uniform illumination for precise analysis.
Integratable and extensible: API and robot arm compatibility for streamlined workflows.
And the best part: Quick and easy to use!

Can you help us?
We are bringing our ColonyCam prototype to Kent on Tuesday, May 20th, and we’ll run sessions until Thursday 22rd. Come try it out and give us your feedback!
Location: University of Kent, Stacey Building, School of Biosciences. First floor, Room 103, CT2 7NJ.
