We have opportunities in our assembly department for an Assembly Technician, preferably with experience or knowledge in:
- Mechanical assembly
- Electrical assembly, including wiring and soldering
- Lean manufacturing techniques and practices
- Health & Safety compliance
- Root cause analysis
- Workplace organisation methodologies
Key Responsibilities
Your main responsibilities will be to:
- Prioritise work schedules with team
- Follow work instructions & process documentation [written and pictorial] with the confidence to suggest improvements and highlight non-conformities
- Check and test components & assemblies in line with quality processes and procedures
- Adhere to all Health & Safety procedures
- Support the team & Assembly Manager in reporting, developing and improving the assembly area
- Keeping your work area clean and organised at all times
Salary
£16-20k DOE, with increase in line with time served and skills demonstrated
