Product Manager

Are you an entrepreneurial biologist with a passion for lab automation? Have you got a head full of ideas that would help transform how lab work is done?

You will be talking to customers and dissecting biological workflows to help us develop a product vision and strategy for a disruptive, new generation of laboratory automation devices. You will provide cross-functional leadership, most notably between scientists, engineering teams, sales and marketing, and support.

The Team

The Product Team is supported directly by the Managing Director. You will work especially closely with customers, Sales and Marketing and Engineering to deliver a vision for exponential scientific acceleration. You’ll be building upon a wealth of work already done by our Strategy Team and our UX Engineers.

The Reward

The work you do will help scientists in laboratories in over 50 countries accelerate their research efforts on global challenges such as cures for cancer and solutions for renewable energies.

Key Requirements

  • MSci or PhD in Biology OR..
  • 2+ years Automation Technology experience in biotech OR…
  • 3+ years commercial product development or product management experience in biotech
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong interest in technology, innovation and robotics
  • Excellent organizational skills

Bonus Requirements

  • Experience with laboratory automation or robotics
  • Experience in an Agile project management environment
  • Design Thinking

Qualifications

Less important than experience and attitude, but any of the following would help

  • PhD in Biology or Microbiology
  • MBA
  • Product Management Qualifications

Starting Salary

£30,000 – £41,000 p.a.
