Scientific Advisor

This is a challenging and exciting opportunity to run your own lab and drive our Asia-Pacific business in Singapore

Scientific Advisor

The successful applicant will be responsible for maintaining the company’s lead in laboratory automation as a key scientific advisor and relationship manager in Asia-Pacific.

You will have your own laboratory and office within SynCTI at the National University of Singapore, and will help to provide the ever-changing voice of the customer and, crucially, act as the link between our Asian distributors, customers and Singer Instruments.

Additionally you will be talking with world-renowned scientists, making large capital sales, testing new products, maintaining your lab, writing applications papers, organising and attending meetings, keeping up with life science trends and innovations, and increasing brand awareness within key scientific communities.

As a mid-level position in a relatively small and rapidly-expanding business, you will experience a varied role, challenging you and allowing you to gain exposure to many aspects of business that larger companies will be less likely to provide: such as product development, business management, marketing and strategic planning. This is an important role, in an important market at an extremely exciting time. We are looking for a passionate and focused English and Mandarin speaking scientist, to lead our continued exponential-growth within Asia-Pacific.
