THE ROLE

We are looking for a manager to own and improve our MRP process and manage our small but complex stores function. You will need an eye for detail to maintain and improve our MRP software tool, look to optimise our stock holdings to reduce risk but add value to the business and our customers. It’s the hub of the production wheel, so you will be well versed in creating reports, coordinating with other production managers and our R&D Team, overseeing general purchasing for the wider business. You will have HSE, Quality & CIP bursting from your soul!

THE TEAM

You will report directly to the Operations Manager and work closely with our:

  • Workshop Manager [CNC Shop]
  • Assembly Manager
  • Continuous Improvement Manager
  • Supply Chain Manager
  • Your team!

You will support our R&D Team and blend seamlessly with our culture, managing and controlling risks with the support of our HSE Manager and supporting your team working under our fantastic people-focussed ethos and systems.

THE REWARD

Requirments

  • Strong Maths and IT / Database for getting the best out of our MRP System mainly, but we have a range of software tools
  • A compassionate but driven leader
  • Great communication skills
  • Detail focussed and accurate
  • Understanding of Goods In, Goods Out and Purchasing functions
  • Ability to manipulate data to drive decisions and report to the wider business

Bonus Requirements

  • Understanding of international shipping requirements [Inbound + Outbound]
  • Qualification / accreditation in MRP / ERP functions, Supply Chain or other relevant discipline
  • Leadership / Management competency with a proven ability of coaching, collaboration and delegation
  • Project Management Skills

Qulifications

Less important than experience and attitude, an HND or equivalent in Supply Chain or equivalent / compatible area

Salary

£26,000 to £30,000 per annum DoE
